Welcome to Krokotopia! Krokotopia is the second of the four original worlds that were part of the game when Wizard101 was released to the public in 2008. Your wizard is sent to this desert world of Kroks to find the Krokonomicron and the Order of the Fang. While there you discover a plethora of Pop Culture references.
Himoolayan Mountains, Kembaalung Village update (added in 2014), Upper and Lower Zigazag (added in 2014) and the Selenopolis update (added in 2024) references are listed here as well.
Please note this list does not claim to be every reference, these are just the ones I caught or have been made aware of. Many young wizards have contributed to my research for this series of articles. I have undoubtedly missed some references and will happily revise this master list as more come to light. Also this series focuses on the NPCs of Wizard101 and will not attempt to list all references in Quest Names, Spells, or Dialogue.
Updates for Selenopolis added 33 new articles as of 7/31/2025
