Captain Salalabad is a blue Mander who runs the ferry boat between the Oasis island and the island with the Korokosphinx. Captain Salalabad reminds young Wizards that they can’t go aboard his ferry without permission from Sergeant Major Talbot. Fun fact: most wizards never complete the ride more than once.

Sinbad the Sailor is a fictional mariner and the hero of a story-cycle of Middle Eastern origin. His stories were first recorded in the Arabic epic, One Thousand and One Nights. He is described as hailing from Baghdad during the early Abbasid Caliphate (8th and 9th centuries A.D.). In the course of seven voyages throughout the seas east of Africa and south of Asia, he has fantastic adventures in magical realms, encountering monsters and witnessing supernatural phenomena.
