Old Judd

I’m not much of a horror fan, so I HAVE to thank Beryn B. for this one.

Old Judd used to work at the cemetery. Now he plans to turn all Pets into zombie Pets.

Pet Sematary (sometimes referred to as Stephen King’s Pet Sematary) is a 1989 American supernatural horror film and the first adaptation of Stephen King’s 1983 novel of the same name. Directed by Mary Lambert and written by King, it stars Dale Midkiff, Denise Crosby, Blaze Berdahl, Fred Gwynne, and Miko Hughes. The title is an intentional mis-spelling of “pet cemetery”.

Jud Crandall (Fred Gwynne, yes the same actor who played Herman Munster) was a lifelong resident of Ludlow, Maine, who passed his twilight years watching semi-trucks barrel down the highway in front of his house. His quiet life became a little more active when a new family, the Creeds, moved in across the road. After he befriended Doctor Louis Creed, Jud took the family into his confidence and revealed that the seemingly-tranquil Maine landscape held a dark and deadly secret– an ancient burial ground that had the power to reverse death itself.
