Jotun is a Boss in the Nidavellir dungeon, Hall of Valor. Jotun’s brothers, Ullik and Grettir, will join the duel if they have not recently been defeated in their own dungeons, Helgrind Warren and Winterdeep Warren.
Ullik is an ancient Grendel, one of Jotun’s brothers. He is mightier than Grettir, but not Jotun, and is proficient in the School of Death.
Grettir is the other brother. Once both Ullik and Grettir have been, they will not be there to help Jotun in the Hall of Valor.
A jötunn is a type of supernatural being in Germanic mythology. In Norse mythology, they are often contrasted with gods (Æsir and Vanir) and other non-human figures, such as dwarfs and elves, although the groupings are not always mutually exclusive. The entities themselves are referred to by several other terms, including risi, þurs and troll if male and gýgr or tröllkona if female. The jötnar typically dwell across boundaries from the gods and humans in lands such as Jötunheimr.
The jötnar are frequently attested throughout the Old Norse record, with eotenas also featuring in the Old English poem Beowulf. The usage of the terms is dynamic, with an overall trend that the beings become portrayed as less impressive and more negative as Christianity becomes more influential. Although the term “giant” is sometimes used to gloss the word “jötnar” and its apparent synonyms in some translations and academic texts, jötnar are not necessarily notably large.

Ulik is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He usually appears as an adversary of Thor. Ulik was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and first appeared in Thor #137 (February 1967).

Ulik belongs to a race of Rock Trolls who live in the dimension of Asgard in the “Domain of Trolls” in Nornheim. Like all trolls, Ulik has an innate hatred of the Asgardians, as they were driven underground by the King of the Norse gods, Odin, and forbidden to live on the surface.
Grettis saga Ásmundarsonar, also known as Grettla, Grettir’s Saga, or The Saga of Grettir the Strong, is one of the Icelanders’ sagas. It details the life of Grettir Ásmundarson, a bellicose Icelandic outlaw.
Bonus Trivia Garfield (yes, the lasagna loving cat) is named Grettir in Iceland: because he is raucous, a little broad and unwilling to conform to society’s norms.

Although I am well versed in Pop Culture references, I do not claim to have caught them all. Let me know your favorites in the comments and if I’ve missed one you caught, let me know so I can add it to the list.
