Why Didn’t the Rebels Use X-Wings on Hoth?
Given that we see X-Wings running inside the atmosphere of Scarif and knowing that X-Wings can operate in the cold of space, we can surmise that it’s not the cold temperatures of Hoth that keep the X-Wing fleet grounded at Hoth. The Empire must have upgraded the AT-AT armor.
