In May of 2019, Game of Thrones was airing its final season on HBO. Savvy viewers caught site of the anachronistic coffee cup in the above pictured scene. HBO Entertainment digitally removed the cup from repeat viewings.
That said, Nitpicker’s don’t deal in reality, we deal in “reel”-ity. Therefore we have to make sense of what we saw both times.
