This is my all time favorite Bible verse for two reasons; one I used to have this framed picture of a circus train with this verse underneath it hanging in my room as a child. And the second, it echoes some advice my grandfather gave me when my wife and I were expecting PIT #1. He said, “Steve, you have two choices when it comes to children. You can raise them or spoil them. If you RAISE your children, you get to spoil your grandchildren. If you SPOIL your children, you will HAVE to raise your grandchildren.”
My Grandfather was a wise man.
