Nitpicking Star Trek: Deep Space Nine – Advanced Refuse Technology

Before and after this episode, whenever the Jem’Hadar have needed more “White” their tubes have been empty and the cartridge at the end of the tubes was replaced.

This time the tubes still have “White” and the Jem’Hadar simply place the cartridge inside their uniforms. As you can see from the original meme, I attributed this to some advanced refuse/recycling tech. But now four years later, I think it’s most likely the Jem’Hadar didn’t need “White” and were just stockpiling it.
