Nitpicking Back to the Future – Doc Brown Is a Mechanical Genius

I’ve watched Mythbusters. I know with the proper actuators and controls you can remotely control just about ANY vehicle. Grant Imahara, Adam Savage, and Jamie Hyneman have done that repeatedly time and time again but usually with an automatic transmission vehicle. That said, even with current tech levels, those actuators and controls take up most of the driver’s area. Doc has managed, with 1985 tech, to build a remote control standard transmission vehicle with nothing impeding a driver from controlling the vehicle as well.
