What Happened to B’Elanna’s Bat’leth? Neelix Lost It.
Just a few weeks later after the crew of Voyager has been kidnapped by the Quarren Conspiracy, Neelix brings a brainwashed B’Elanna to her quarters. In place of the baby’s gift a standard Bat’leth now hangs on the wall. What happened? Originally I blamed Neelix. However, after thinking about it, I’m going to blame the Quarren Conspiracy. When they kidnapped B’Elanna from her quarters one of them took a fancy to the Sword of Kahless replica and liberated it. Neelix, realizing the Sword was missing replicated a new one to help B’Elanna reacclimate to Voyager. Being unfamiliar with Klingon Bat’leths, Neelix replicated the WRONG version.
