Chakotay’s Medicine Bundle was NOT with him when he beamed off the Maquis Raider. Yet somehow, mystically he has this sacred object in his possession to show Captain Janeway. It’s too big to keep in his prison pocket, so he must keep it strapped to his back under his clothes.
