Lenin’s Death Caused the US to Add Eight New States
Following the climatic end to the Xindi arc of season three (YES, it happened, get over it), Archer and the Enterprise are thrown back in time to an alternate history where Nazi Germany, with the aid Vosk’s Temporal Cold War faction, has conquered Europe and invaded America.
On the Nazi map of the United States in part 2 of “Storm Front,” there is a flag with 56 stars. There is also no indication that the Japanese have invaded the west coast. This can only mean that the divergence caused the US to add states to the Union and since we don’t see them on the map, they must have been territories of the US prior to the outbreak of World War II.
