The “Blanket” Snow of 1994

Now, we know that this scene takes place Christmas Eve in a Chicago suburb and NOT in Toronto sometime between April 26, 1994 – July 9, 1994. So it must be the strange blanket like qualities of this Christmas Eve snow that caused Santa to fall.
