Future Food Oxidizes Fast
Why was “Sci-Fi” food from the 50s and 60s always unrecognizable as food? 2001, a film from 1968 depicted food as paste. Yummy. Star Trek (1966-69) depicted food as Play-Do-esque cubes.
And we have the ever popular “Food Pill” as depicted in the 1955 film “Conquest of Space.” But 2001″s food seems to change color pretty quickly. I’m not sure I could bring myself to eat paste that changes color that quickly.
