I don’t think Deanna’s empathic abilities are all she claims. She’s been counseling Reg for quite some time and has never picked up on his feelings for her. She’s never once gotten any sensation of Reg’s deep-seated inner desires?
Nope she’s shocked and hypocritical. She smiles knowingly at Reg’s depictions of the rest of the crew but wants to immediately delete Reg’s fantasy version of herself.
