Avant Guard is putting on a play in the Theater of the Absurd. The cost of admission is your naivete and the reward is wonder! Wonder about the nature of civilization, wonder about yourself, wonder about what you just saw. Come one, come all… …Come wonder
Person One: “Alright team, you know what to do. Forget anything anyone is saying and focus on getting to that Helephant.”
Person Two: “What? Could you repeat that? I was busy carefully reading all the texts I found as meticulously as possible.”
Person Three: “Uh… yeah… I just attracted the attention of a ton of extra monsters… and I’m going to run away now. You guys deal with them.”
Person Four: “Just don’t expect me to heal. I’m not going to heal. Between you and me, audience, I take joy in watching their grief.”
Person One: “And now at last I see the real Helephant is other people. And there is no escape. Not for us! And not for you!”
Wizard101 has been around long enough that we are starting to see third generation players. We’ve all run into at least one of the these random wizards at least once; the “Rush in where Angels fear to tread and skip all the dialogue” wizard, the “over prepared” wizard, the “Oh crap, I wasn’t expecting this kind of fight” wizard, and the “Healer? I’m set for damage.” Life wizard. I think the tongue-in-cheek fourth wall break by the writers was nicely done.
These random team-up wizards are annoying, and they’re unavoidable if you choose to fight with random wizards. Now, I’m not saying ALL wizards are obnoxious, but we’ve all run into at least one during our years of playing.
