The Implications of the Mrs. Clause
Why does it take 8 years for the Mrs. Clause to kick in? Good question. Nitpickers don’t use the reality of film production as an answer. The film never explains WHY it take eight years, just that Scott hasn’t gotten a Mrs. and begins de-Santafication.
Why didn’t Bernard tell Scott the year after his first year as Santa? That would have given Scott plenty of time to find a Mrs.
In addition to the questions asked in the meme, my wife wants to know that if I don the Santa Suit, does she automatically become Mrs. Claus? What if she DOESN’T WANT to be Mrs. Claus?
