How do we know it’s magic and not just Buddy moving quickly as the camera cuts tot reverse shot? Because as a father of three and grandfather to five more, I can tell you that when toddlers move they move as fast and as far as they can. I have seldom (if ever) seen a toddler go from a sitting position to another sitting position about a foot away without a good reason to stop.
