Unstable Suspended Animation
Once more, as nitpickers we KNOW it’s not a case of an attempt by a different director to recreate a scene previously filmed seven years prior using the same actress and a recreated set.
We’re left with the notion that Suspended Animation does not completely shut down the body and movement is a possibility. Also I don’t think Ripley rubbed the number off while in the pod. The ice crystals caused the number ink to dissolve.
On a side note, Does the acquisition of 20th Century Fox by the Walt Disney Company make Ripley and the Alien Queen Disney Princesses?
