Collar of Transformation
A Collar of Transformation is a magical item. It is a collar set with a gem, jewel, or engraved amulet to hold a spell of transformation, usually polymorph of one degree or another.
Worn by PC’s pet, this collar fits magically around the pet’s neck and has no discernable clasp. When PC says “Beast, Beast, Beast,” the pet transforms into larger version of that animal. (i.e. Tiger if the pet is a Cat, Wolf is the pet is a Dog. Think Cringer’s transformation into Battle Cat from the He-Man) {DM’s discretion on transformed form}. The pet will stay transformed in battle mode until the PC calls the pet’s name three times or until the Battle form is wounded to the pet’s normal HP. This transformation can be done twice/day and resets after a long rest.
Additionally if the pet senses danger that the PC is unaware of (+3 to the PC’s passive perception), the pet can initiate the transformation on its own.

This wondrous item was created at the behest of my DM for the Heroes of Honalee campaign for our youngest player. She wanted her pet kitten to be part of character’s quest.
