The Wonders of Transporter Technology
We’ve seen weapons detected and disarmed mid-transport. We’ve seen the transporter split people in two. We’ve seen the transporter used to reverse the aging process. But one of my favorites is watching the transporter physically rearrange the location of molecules within the body to move from one position to another.
Two questions about this scene: Why is Tyler beginning to collapse before the transport is complete? And why, if Tyler is so badly injured, didn’t Lorca have him beamed direct to Sickbay?
