The “Ghost Cursor”
This one has always bothered me. I understand that the EMH only has a solid form due to the force field projectors in Sick Bay. I get that those fields can be turned off manually. What I didn’t get until the “Ghost Cursor” explanation came to me is HOW could a hologram turn the force fields back on manually. Especially when Riker can sit on the Tactical Station without firing of phasers or photon torpedoes.
Starfleet engineers have perfected LCARS interfaces.
