Nitpicking Star Trek TNG and VOY – More Jynnan Tonnyx Technology

Jynnan Tonnyx Technology is the term the Guild uses when the reality of prop reusage appears in different episodes and the tech being portrayed is different. Unlike yesterday’s post about the same prop portraying a computer of some sort.

We thank Douglas Adams for this observation from Restaurant at the End of the Universe. This wonderful shorthand allows the ‘reel’-ity to explain why an ancient data storage device looks remarkably similar to Kazon and Borg communications tech.
