Who cares what the Mythbusters proved. I’m a Trekker not a Bustie. OK, so I happen to like Mythbusters as well that doesn’t make “Arena” any less awesome.

Regarding the Mythbusters’ segment, it seems painfully obvious why their test failed: the crash test dummy standing in for Kirk is wearing a red shirt. Dressing it in a gold shirt would have ensured success.
