Xipli Tailbiter

Xipli Tailbiter is an alchemist in Three Points who is a bit… different. He will help you clear the rubble from the Maw so you can enter the Cenote to find Tezcat Threestar. The concoction he makes for you smells like rotten eggs and makes a BOOM! Big Badaboom! He also gives your Ice Wizard the level 98 ice pet, Lord of Winter.

Xōchipilli is the god of art, games, dance, flowers, and song in Aztec mythology. His name contains the Nahuatl words xōchitl (“flower”) and pilli (either “prince” or “child”) and hence means “flower child”.

As the patron of writing and painting, he was called Chicomexōchitl the “Seven-flower”, but he could also be referred to as Macuilxōchitl “Five-flower”. He was the patron of the game patolli. He is frequently paired with Xochiquetzal, who is seen as his female counterpart.

Xōchipilli

In the mid-19th century, a 16th-century Aztec statue of Xochipilli was unearthed on the side of the volcano Popocatépetl near Tlalmanalco. The statue is of a single figure seated upon a temple-like base. Both the statue and the base upon which it sits are covered in carvings of sacred and psychoactive organisms including mushrooms (Psilocybe aztecorum), tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum), Ololiúqui (Turbina corymbosa), sinicuichi (Heimia salicifolia), possibly cacahuaxochitl (Quararibea funebris), and one unidentified flower.

BOOM! Big Badaboom is a reference to the film The Fifth Element. Leelo utters this phrase when she crash lands through the cab of Corbin Dallas’ cab.

The Fifth Element is a 1997 English-language French science fiction action film conceived and directed by Luc Besson, as well as co-written by Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. It stars Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, Ian Holm, Milla Jovovich, and Chris Tucker. Primarily set in the 23rd century, the film’s central plot involves the survival of planet Earth, which becomes the responsibility of Korben Dallas (Willis), a taxicab driver and former special forces major, after a young woman (Jovovich) falls into his cab. To accomplish this, Dallas joins forces with her to recover four mystical stones essential for the defense of Earth against the impending attack of a malevolent cosmic entity.
