Yacate Farwalker

Yacate Farwalker is the King’s Advisor in Three Points. Yacate is not a fan of King Axaya Knifemoon. He is also not fond of your wizard either as he insukts you by calling you a ‘shaved jaguar cub’. Does he despise you abd the King because he is a servant of the Shadow Queen? Most likey. You fight him both in the Xolotl Tower and on Xibalba.

Ah, the Shaved Jaguar Cub interferes again! You are looking for the Shadow’s Tongue? Hah. I guess that’s me. King Neza always did have a way with words. What message do you have for the Shadow Queen? Does he surrender? What!? How dare you!? The Shadow Queen will not like this news. I’ll just have to strike you down to make sure I have something good to tell her! – Yacate Farwalker, when you face him in the Xolotl Tower.

Shaved jaguar cub, you continue to evolve. I have no idea how you got up here, but you are too late! The Shadow Queen, has chained the oldest ghosts. These Lords of Night know the song of creation, which they will teach her. Now, let me teach you a song of Armageddon!

Yacate Farwalker

Yacate’s Monster Tome description states that he threatens to teach you the Song of Armageddon. Pay attention, you don’t want to miss a thing.

Yacatecuhtli as he appears in the Codex Borgia

In Aztec mythology, Yacatecuhtli was a patron god of commerce and travelers (or those who walked far), especially business travelers. His symbol is a bundle of sticks. Merchants would carry an utatl cane as they moved from village to village peddling their wares, and at night-time would tie them together into a neat bundle before sprinkling them with blood from their ears. It was believed that this ritual in Yacatecuhtli’s honor would guarantee success in future business ventures, not to mention protection from vicious beasts and robbers on their journeys.

His name means “lord of the nose” (Nahuatl yacatl, nose and tecuhtli, lord).

Armageddon is a 1998 American science fiction disaster film produced and directed by Michael Bay, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and released by Touchstone Pictures. The film follows a group of blue-collar deep-core drillers sent by NASA to stop a gigantic asteroid on a collision course with Earth. It stars Bruce Willis with Billy Bob Thornton, Liv Tyler, Ben Affleck, Will Patton, Keith David, Michael Clarke Duncan, Peter Stormare, and Steve Buscemi. The film was a commercial success, grossing $553 million worldwide against a $140 million budget and becoming the highest-grossing film of 1998.

Although I am well versed in Pop Culture references, I do not claim to have caught them all. Let me know your favorites in the comments and if I’ve missed one you caught, let me know so I can add it to the list.
