Vigilant Perun is a Luphilim and one of the protectors of the Sunless Shrine along with Vigilant Jarilo. Luphilim is derived from the Latin “Lupus” meaning wolf and “Nephilim”
The Nephilim are mysterious beings or people in the Hebrew Bible who are described as being large and strong. The Hebrew word Nephilim is sometimes translated as “giants”, and sometimes as its literal meaning “the fallen ones”. The author of the non-canonical Book of Enoch, views them as offspring of fallen angels and humans.
“Jehoha’hardiin”, “Jehoha’goraj”, “Jehoha’viis”, “Jehoha’vellur”, “Jehoha’qatan” and “Jehoha’charam”; the greetings used by the Luphilim are “gibberish” (according to my W101 source) inspired by Hebrew, Skyrim Dragonborn, and some Tolkein.
Vigilant Perun and his fellow Luphilim have maintained the vigil from the Dawn of this Age til now. They have awaited your arrival and are ready to administer the trials you must face to gain audience with the Aurorcle.
Vigilants of Stendarr are a militant order in the priesthood of Stendarr, the Divine of Mercy, in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It was founded after the Oblivion Crisis to combat the Daedric influence. The Vigilants also seek to root out vampires, werewolves, witches, and other creatures that prey on mortals.
