Zoot

Zoot is a friendly vegetarian Yeti who was raised by a shoemaker in Marleybone. Zoot traveled to Forlorn Tayg to become friends with more of his kind.

The Yeti is an ape-like creature purported to inhabit the Himalayan mountain range in Asia. In Western popular culture, the creature is commonly referred to as the Abominable Snowman. Many dubious articles have been offered in an attempt to prove the existence of the Yeti, including anecdotal visual sightings, disputed video recordings, photographs, and plaster casts of large footprints. Some of these are speculated or known to be hoaxes.

Folklorists trace the origin of the Yeti to a combination of factors, including Sherpa folklore and misidentified fauna such as bear or yak. The Yeti is commonly compared to Bigfoot of North America, as the two subjects often have similar physical descriptions. The Yeti is often described as being a large, bipedal ape-like creature that is covered with brown, grey, or white hair, and it is sometimes depicted as having large, sharp teeth.

Yeti

The Yeti (John Ratzenberger); a.k.a. the Abominable Snowman, Adorable Snowman, or just Adorable, is a character in Disney/Pixar’s 2001 animated film Monsters, Inc. He worked at Monsters Inc. until he got banished to the Himalayas by Henry J. Waternoose for discovering letters regarding the latter’s involvement with the Scream Extractor.

The Yeti is a monster who worked at Monsters, Inc. until he got banished (presumably for tampering with mail) to the Himalayas. Despite being banished, he likes living in the Human World and has a general wish of making other banished monsters feel welcome with him. This is shown when he does his best to keep Mike and Sulley warm and sheltered when they were banished to the Himalayas. He is also somewhat of a comedian, such as when he tells Mike and Sulley the story of how his friend Bigfoot made a diaper out of poison ivy and nicknamed himself “King Itchy” when he got banished.

Zoot (portrayed by Carol Cleveland) is one of the handmaidens at Castle Anthrax in the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. She met Sir Galahad (Michael Palin) while he was on a quest for the Holy Grail. She lit the Grail shaped beacon that attracted Sir Galahad to the castle. She has a twin sister named Dingo.
