Nitpicking Gilligan’s Island – Conspiracy?

Forgetting for a moment that the Howells and Ginger brought along FAR more luggage than was needed for a three-hour tour. Forget that the Professor could build ANYTHING but a raft out of coconuts. The storm could have easily tossed the Minnow outside of any reasonable are for Search and Rescue so we aren’t going to argue as to why no one ever found the castaways on purpose.

I want to know WHO is piloting the Minnow out of port. He (or she) is NOT harbor pilot as they usually wear a bright easily seen vest and the Minnow is well short of the 100 foot minimum length to require a harbor pilot. This mysterious person is NEVER mentioned by the castaways. This person is never seen or heard from again.

My guess he is Gilligan’s Island equivalent of Mr. Boddy from the Clue board game. He had blackmail material on each of the other passengers (and possibly Skipper and Gilligan) and the castaways used the convenient storm to throw him overboard.
