The Roku Space Screensaver made its debut on Valentine’s Day 2021. It is still available as an option on your Roku enabled device. It’s a bit different from the Roku City Screensaver in that nearly every reference is a romance movie one.

The Pont des Arts or Passerelle des Arts is a pedestrian bridge in Paris which crosses the River Seine. It links the Institut de France and the central square (cour carrée) of the Palais du Louvre, which had been termed the “Palais des Arts” under the First French Empire.
The Pont des Arts in Paris, famous for its romantic views, has featured in many films, notably the 2004 drama Le Pont des Arts, Now You See Me (2013), and the finale of Sabrina (1995). It is also seen in The Bourne Identity (2002), Taken (2008), Cars 2 (2011), and as the spot where Carrie and Big reunite in the Sex and the City finale.

Movies featuring Venetian gondolas include Casanova (2005), The Wings of the Dove (1997), and The Thief of Venice (1950). Iconic scenes also appear in Moonraker (1979), where James Bond drives a gondola-turned-hovercraft through St. Mark’s Square, and Summertime (1955). Does the flower pot remind anyone of anything?
Falling in Love (1984) and Enchanted (2007) are romance films involving the NYC Subway. Although it doesn’t take place in or on the Subway, Marilyn Monroe’s iconic upskirt scene from The Seven Year Itch (1955) was caused by subway updraft.
Keeping to the mid-ground, we’ll start off with Casablanca (1942) and Love and Basketball (2000). Upstairs we have The Apartment (1960), Pretty Woman (1990) and Ghost (1990). Outside on the right we have Love Actually (2003), Grease (1978), and the couch, fountain and lamp from FRIENDS (1994-2004)
The FRIENDS couch again. Giselle emerging from the manhole from Enchanted (2007), My Girl (1991), and 10 Things I Hate About You (1999). Traynor U. in the comments asks for an explanation of TTIHAY… The couch scene in 10 Things I Hate About You (1999) features Kat Stratford (Julia Stiles) and Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger) sharing a vulnerable, intimate moment as their relationship shifts from a transactional bet to genuine romance. While not a “first kiss” scene, it is a crucial bonding moment where Kat opens up after a stressful, drunken night at a party.
My Gril and 10 Things I Hate About You have already been mentioned. The couple in the inner tubes are from Palm Springs (2020)

it was also featured in Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood (2019)
Out front the couple is preforming Baby’s lift from Dirty Dancing (1987), the ghetto blaster over the head is from Say Anything (1989), the couple by the cactus is also from A Star is Born (2018), which brings us back to Casablanca (1942).
At the far left is the Hancock Building from downtown Chicago. It has been prominently featured in; While You Were Sleeping (1995), When Harry Met Sally (1989), and Return to Me (2000). Next is the Taj Mahal which featured prominently in; Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story (2005), Taj Mahal: A Monument of Love (2003), The Bucket List (2007), and many non-English speaking romance films. Next in line is the Marina Bay Sands complex with the neon trees in Singapore from Crazy Rich Asians (2018). There is the Eiffel Tower, an iconic structure in the city of love itself. Among the films featuring the tower are; Funny Face (1957), Under the Eiffel Tower (2019), French Kiss (1995), and Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003)

Between the Eiffel Tower and the windmill appears to be the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. These three buildings together evoke Paris, the City of Love. Among the many numerous romance films set in Paris are; Before Sunset (2004), Midnight in Paris (2011), Amélie (2001), A Little Romance (1979), 2 Days in Paris (2007), and Love at Second Sight (2019). The basilica is frequently used in TV shows and movies to represent the romantic or historic charm of the Montmartre neighborhood. In addition to Amélie and French Kiss, the Basilica features prominently in John Wick 4 (2023). Next in line is the windmill of the Moulin Rouge cabaret, it featured prominent in Moulin Rouge! (2001). Underneath the windmill is a smaller more accurate rendition of the Pont Des Arts bridge. Next to the bridge on the right looks like the Tempietto del Bramante in Rome, it features prominently in The Great Beauty (2013). On top of the hill looks like the Italian villa from Under the Tuscan Sun (2003). Down the hill is Torre di Pisa (aka the Leaning Tower of Pisa). Among the many films prominently featuring the Tower are; The Yellow Rolls-Royce (1964), Lovers and Liars (1979), Interbang!? (1982), Superman III (1983), Jeans (1998), and Cars 2 (2011). The couple riding on a Vespa in front of the Colosseum is specifically from Roman Holiday (1953). Other romance movies featuring the Colosseum include; Three Coins in the Fountain (1954), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), Eat Pray Love (2010), and To Rome with Love (2012). I’m not sure about this last building, to me it looks like a front facing photo of Frauenkirche in Munich, if so it’s there for Dresden (2006). If you have a better idea, let me know.
On the left is what I think is Frauenkirche in Munich. I’m not sure about the building or buildings in the middle. Going up the hill seems to part of the San Francisco skyline. Romance movies featuring San Francisco include; Harold and Maude (1971), Basic Instinct (1992), So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993), The Princess Diaries (2001), The Wedding Planner (2001), Just Like Heaven (2005), and Medicine for Melancholy (2009). The couple dancing in the sky above the Griffith Observatory is specifically from La La Land (2016). Other romance films using the observatory include; Rebel Without a Cause (1955), Gangster Squad (2013), and Love & Mercy (2014).
Continuing on from the La La Land dancing couple, is the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. In front of the Arc is a station wagon with luggage on top. This could reference National Lampoon’s European Vacation (1985), except the car’s profile is clearly Sally’s Toyota wagon from When Harry Met Sally (1989). In the city skyline appears the Empire State Building. The Empire State Building features prominently in An Affair to Remember (1957), Sleepless in Seattle (1993), Love Affair (1939 & remade in 1994), and Made of Honor (2008). To the right of the Empire State Building is the San Remo Building on Central Park West. It is most famously known as Spook Central (Dana Barrett’s apartment building in Ghostbusters (1984). Other films using the San Remo include; The Odd Couple (1968), Eyes Wide Shut (1999), and Uptown Girls (2003). Which brings us to Cloud Gate aka Chicago’s Bean which was featured in The Vow (2012).
