Opal Bilburrow won’t give your Wizard an Outback Pass. Krokodile Dundara is willing to help you get out side the gates of Hope Springs. Dundara is the leading purveyor of genuine, authentic unlicensed Outback expeditions. First he sends your Wizard to get supplies.
After defeating Bushwackers sent by Dandara’s nemesis, the Krokodile Hunter, Dundara escorts you in the Outback via his secret tunnel. Once in the Outback you are given a little adventure of fighting Goannas and meeting a Kanga-guru.
Alas, once the Emu-Riders show up, Dundara reveals himself to actually be a performer named Paul. He and his business partner Steve give tourists a taste of Wallaru and fake Dream Water. Dundara asks your Wizard to find and rescue Steve the Krok Hunter.
Crocodile Dundee is a 1986 action comedy film set in the Australian Outback and in New York City. It stars Paul Hogan as the weathered Mick Dundee and American actress Linda Kozlowski as reporter Sue Charlton. Inspired by the true-life exploits of Rod Ansell, the film was made on a budget of under $10 million as a deliberate attempt to make a commercial Australian film that would appeal to a mainstream American audience, but proved to be a worldwide phenomenon.
Released on 30 April 1986 in Australia, and on 26 September in the United States, it was the highest-grossing film of all time in Australia, the highest-grossing Australian film worldwide, the second-highest-grossing film in the United States in 1986, the highest-grossing non-US film at the US box office ever and the second-highest-grossing film worldwide for the year. There are two versions of the film: the Australian version, and an international version, which had much of the Australian slang replaced with more commonly understood terms, and was slightly shorter. As the first film in the Crocodile Dundee film series, it was followed by two sequels: Crocodile Dundee II (1988) and Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (2001), although both films failed to match the critical success of the original.

Michael J. “Crocodile” Dundee (also called Mick), played by Paul Hogan, is a fictional protagonist in the Crocodile Dundee film series consisting of Crocodile Dundee, Crocodile Dundee II, and Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. The character is a crocodile hunter, hence the nickname and is modeled on Rod Ansell.
Dundee was supposedly born in a cave, in the Northern Territory, and raised by Indigenous Australians. He is unaware of his age; he once asked an Aboriginal elder when he was born, the reply was “in the summertime”. Until the events of the first film, Dundee said he had never lived in a city, or even been to one (“Cities are crowded, right? If I went and lived in some city, I’d only make it worse”). He owns a piece of land called “Billongamick” (“belong to Mick”), meaning “Mick’s place”, that he inherited from an uncle. He estimates that a person might walk across it in three to four days, but he regards it as useless except for a gold mine that he refers to as “the Reserve Bank” and his “retirement fund”. Dundee is rarely seen without his black Akubra hat or his Bowie knife.
The current list of all the (known) Wallaru references are located here.
Although I am well versed in Pop Culture references but I do not claim to have caught them all. Let me know your favorites in the comments and if I’ve missed one you caught, let me know so I can add it to the list.
