Nitpicking Home Alone – Miraculous Wind

Kevin is on the left side of the stairway. A straight shot (which is how the toboggan is lined up) is going to send Kevin right into the corner of the vestibule arch and then into the right side windows of the door frame. The wind which blows the door open all the way must alter Kevin’s trajectory, allowing him fly out the door unharmed.
