And just like that another year is filed away under memories. I remember an old Family Circus calendar that I got from our bank in the late 70s or early 80s. Dad is hanging up the new calendar for the year. Billy and his siblings look at the calendar and are envisioning a wondrous journey starting in winter, winding through spring, summer, fall and ending at Christmas of the New Year. Billy says something about “Next Christmas will take forever to get here”. As Dad throws the old calendar away, he’s envisioning the years passing by with great speed.

::Note:: this is the first AND last time I ever use the straight image that comes out of CHATgpt. AI is a good starting point but has never once given me the exact image I need.
I’ve been back in Missouri for over 15 years, married to Angela for the same period. Added four new in-law children and 5 grandkids. The music I danced to High School now plays over the speakers at Wal-Mart, the Dr.’s office and in elevators. 30-somethings look more child-like to me daily. Enough reminiscing.
2025 allowed me to get back into actually writing my blog articles as I develop new items and beasts for the D&D campaigns I’m in. As such, I’ll be making a subtle shift. Wizard101 articles are NOT done, I just need to get my Wizard into Darkmoor so I can start compiling the pop culture references. Daily Bible Verses will be posted to my Facebook page with a weekly summary here at the blog. Nitpicker’s posts will try to have between 1-3 each week. Expect more DnD articles as I jumped head first back into the RPGBlog Carnival.
May 2026 be a blessing and remember to make every day count. Before you know it, I’ll be summarizing 2026 and saying hello to my 60th year.
