Recently while putting my new Pokémon TCG acquisitions in their respective binders, my wife decided to join me and “help.” Actually, she was looking among my binders for any Slakoth, Piplup, or Phanpy cards. as she collects sloths, penguins, and ‘lelefuntz’ (sic) [cute little elephants].
She was also looking for any of the crocheted Pokémon art cards by Pokémon artist Asako Ito.
As my wife was searching through the databases and comparing my collection online sources she discovered something about Pokémon cards that we hade previously been unaware.
There exists hidden art spread across multiple cards by the same artist through multiple expansions. You may be aware of this hidden art, but we were blown away. As I have time, I’ll be sharing some of them. To start we’ll take these nine cards by Teeziro from Scarlet and Violet (2024) expansion packs: Spheal #049 SSP, Togetic #071 SSP, Vibrava #104 SSP, Passimian #111 SSP, Torkoal #030 TWM, Wattrel #075 TWM, Slowpoke #057 SCR, Golbat #028 SFA, and Dudunsparce #129 TEF.
I’ve been looking at these cards since April as I began sorting my binders. Not once did I notice any hidden art. But I assure you it’s there. EDIT 8/5/26 After writing this post thinking we had discovered some big secret, I discovered it’s a fairly well known thing. Collectors call these cards connected art, interlocking art, or continuing art.
Let’s assemble these in the proper order
