The Roku City screensaver is arguably one of the most watched shows on the planet. With over 100,000,000 Roku subscribers worldwide the number of folks who watch this screen saver daily ranks right up there with;
The Apollo 11 moon landing broadcast is widely considered the most-watched television program of all time, drawing an estimated 125 to 150 million viewers globally in 1969.
However, the moon landing was a news event rather than a traditional entertainment broadcast thus was viewed across every network rather a single outlet.

On June 11, 2026 the rare occurrence of the ENTIRE screensaver getting makeover occurred to celebrate the 2026 World Cup. I’m going to identify what flags I know from memory. Flag IDs will be updated as I research or subscribers comment and help.
Forrest Gump has taken his box of chocolates and left a foam finger, a torch base? and a sign reading “Estamos Contigor”. “Estamos contigo” translates to English as “we are with you”. Depending on the context, it can also mean “we are here for you”, “we are on your side”.
Both cats are gone.
The flag hanging from the light post is familiar…
The Argentina flag hangs from a window on the second floor
A hand-lettered “Campeoes” 2026 (meaning Champions 2026 in Portuguese) hangs from the third floor along with flag of Brazil
Japan’s flag hangs from the water tower.

Flags of the nations are strung like a banner
I believe that is the Spanish flag and Brazilian flag hanging from the roof
Mecha & Kong Movers are carrying a goal and saying “Go Team!”
Marty McFly has left a soccer ball on his hover board
Dr. Who has left and the courthouse is closed for the game.
I need some help identifying these flags.
Danny & Sandy, The Griswalds, and Prince have left, as well as the Velociraptor.
Somebody left a soccerball out front.
The folding sign reads “Parti Au Match” which means “Went to the Game” in French.
The diner is obviously closed as the “Gooooooooal!” sign is over the door.

Hanging on the door is sign the reads “Se ha ido el partido”, which roughly translates from Spanish as “We’ve left for the game”.
I believe the flags of Ireland and Switzerland are hanging just above the door.

The guard has closed the gate and left a “Go Team” sign hanging from the security shack.

I believe that is Switzerland’s flag at the top.
Need help with the flag banner.
Considering this restaurant serves pasta, riffs on the Godfather logo, and serves Lady and the Tramp, I always thought it was an Italian restaurant. Apparently it’s a French restaurant (either that or the owners are French serving Italian food).
The restaurant is closed. The table out front is cleaned and awaiting reopening. Lady and the Tramps table in the alley has been cleaned off. Coco has taken his guitar inside. Benjamin Braddock and Mrs. Robinson from The Graduate have left as well.
On the main floor, the French flag hangs in the west window. A sign reading “Allez L’Equipe” meaning Go Team in French hangs in the East window.
At the bottom of the fire escape hangs a string of French flags.

Cameron, Ferris Bueller, and Sloane have left in Cameron’s father’s Ferrari.
The employees have gone to the game and someone plastered a soccer ball on the Enterprise in the coming soon poster.

I can’t make out the face painted flags on the drama masks.
All decked out in Soccer related art, including Adam’s hand giving someone a red card.

“Vamos Equipo” (means Let’s Go Team in Spanish) sign hangs on the west side of the building and a I ♥ Soccer sign hangs on the east side.
