Recently I wondered what my company mascot, Nevets would look and act like as Pokémon creature. I got to thinking. There is NO WAY and interdimensional creature like Nevets is going to leave the universe untouched. He’s going to bring things with him.
The Rotorhawk was originally conceived last October to celebrate one of my DnD friend’s accomplishment of graduating flight school and getting his helicopter pilot’s license. In honor of my Son-in-law who worked with helicopter pilots in the Army and taught Grandchild #1 how to play Pokémon, Nevets is porting Rotorhawk in as a Stage 2 evolution.
Bellsparrow
Basic Pokémon — Metal Type | 70 HP
Ability — Med Evac
Once during your turn, you may heal 20 damage from your Active Pokémon.
Down Draft ⚙️ — 10
The powerful wash from Bellsparrow’s rotor buffets the opposing Pokémon.
Weakness: ⚡ ×2
Resistance: 🥊 −30
Retreat: None
Pokédex flavor: Despite its small size, Bellsparrow will fly into dangerous situations to rescue injured Pokémon. Trainers value its courage and remarkable ability to hover in even the tightest spaces.
Commancheeken
Stage 1 — Evolves from Bellsparrow
Metal Pokémon | 120 HP
Ability — Recon
If this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon, once during your turn, you may look at the top card of your opponent’s deck. You may either discard that card or shuffle it back into your opponent’s deck.
Strafing Run ⚙️⚙️ — 60
After attacking, you may switch this Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon.
Weakness: ⚡ ×2
Resistance: 🥊 −30
Retreat: None
Pokédex flavor: Commancheeken scouts the battlefield from above, relaying enemy movements before diving in for a sudden attack. Its speed and agility make it notoriously difficult to pin down.
Rotorhawk
Stage 2 — Evolves from Commancheeken
Metal Pokémon | 180 HP
Ability — Flyby
Once during your turn, you may switch this Pokémon with your Active Pokémon or 1 of your Benched Pokémon. This switch has no Retreat Cost.
Arcane Missile Barrage ⚡⚙️⚙️ — 90+
Flip 3 coins. This attack does 30 more damage for each heads.
Weakness: ⚡ ×2
Resistance: 🥊 −30
Retreat: None
Pokédex Flavor: Its enchanted rotors allow it to hover almost silently before unleashing volleys of arcane missiles. Trainers prize Rotorhawks as scouts, companions, and extremely enthusiastic close-air support.
