This counter file is not necessary to download if you plan to play in Ballard, OK but it does have the Professor’s High Output Flamethrowers that will cover Main ST. as well as Cromwell Trucking’s Hi-Rail pickup. All these vehicles are mentioned in the descriptions for Map #4 of Ballard.

Cromwell’s Hi-Rail Pickup
The Hi-Rail is a truck modification that allows regular cars and trucks to ride the rails without the bump-bump-bump and damage incurred to the underside of the vehicle. The extra underside armor is the Hi-Rail addition.
It takes an experienced crew of two at least 30-45 seconds to lower the Hi-Rail equipment and make sure that the vehicle is properly aligned. (The Hi-Rail vehicle can only be positioned on the track at a crossing or parking lot where the track and road surface are the same level.) This is fine for extended campaigns but not a feasible scenario during a duel. Start the duel with the Hi-Rail either on or off the track.
Hi-Rail vehicles can travel up 75 mph when on the track. The are no maneuvers that can be made and the vehicle will follow the track. However when traveling at speeds over 70 mph the Hi-Rail wheels may shatter. Roll once for each of the four Hi-Rail wheels ever second the vehicle is at 70 mph or faster. On a one, the wheel shatters and the vehicle has an immediate -3 to HC and is considered the same maneuver as a blown-out tire on the road.
If a vehicle (The Cromwell Hi-Rail in unarmed) with a Hi-Rail modification is armed, the drive can fire weapons without needing to worry about controlling the vehicle’s direction as the track does that for him or her.
If a Hi-Rail vehicle is traveling down the road with the Hi-Rail not deployed, there is -1 to HC because of the modifications.
If the underside armor is reduced by half the mechanism for raising or lowering the Hi-Rail modification is destroyed and is stuck in the position it was in until the vehicle is repaired. For this vehicle the final four points of underside armor are the Hi-Rail wheels, loss of one point is as above, loss of two is a -4 to HC and a D4 maneuver plus modifications for driving on train tracks loss of 3 or more of the final four points is a -4 to HC and D6 maneuver.
The Cromwell Tractor Trailer
When Cromwell’s Trucking left Ballard, this tractor trailer was broken down on the lot awaiting repairs. The company couldn’t tow it out so they left it. It is up to the DM if the Marauders have repaired the rig or not. If not, randomly damage the truck and trailer.
The “Gun Emplacement” at 214 Main
Assume this vehicle is up on blocks and looks like the typical “Redneck Project Car” The power plant is for weapon power only
Pickup Parked at 212 Main St.
Calling this a fire truck is an in-joke amongst the Marauders.
Please note the flame throwers are now statted out in the Map #4 descriptions. Please revisit the descriptions for the new text.
These vehicles are not necessary to play on the Ballard maps, but they are custom built to accurately portray the vehicles described.
