In 2021, Pokémon introduced the Sword & Shield Black Star Promotional Pokémon V-UNION cards. The sets are variations of Pokémon V cards. Identified by a V-Union graphic the four cards together form a single Pokémon V-UNION.
This montage of Pikachu features art from 25 different artists: Ryota Murayama, Jiro Sasumo, sowsow, Sanosuke Sakuma, Kagemaru Himeno, sui, Saya Tsuruta, OOYAMA, Hitoshi Ariga, kawayoo, Mitsuhiro Arita, Miki Tanaka, Yuu Nishida, Narumi Sato, Taira Akitsu, Shibuzoh, Atsuko Nishida, Naoki Saito, 5ban Graphics, kirisAki, Naoyo Kimura, Masakazu Fukuda, Kouki Saitou, Tomokazu Komiya, and AKIRA EGAWA.
- Mitsuhiro Arita: Created the large, prominent Pikachu positioned in the dead center of the collage, bridging all four cards together.
