In 2021, Pokémon introduced the Sword & Shield Black Star Promotional Pokémon V-UNION cards. The sets are variations of Pokémon V cards. Identified by a V-Union graphic, the four cards together form a single Pokémon V-UNION. Technically these are not considered Hidden or Connected Art cards as the whole concept was to have all four individual cards in your deck and combine them from your discard pile into play. But really, how can this NOT be considered connecting art? We’ll be featuring these cards as well.
I’m starting with this Morpeko 4-card set set (SWSH 287, 288, 289, 290) by artist Yuu Nishida mainly because my better half was kind and thoughtful enough to carefully matte and frame these cards for me. This hangs on my office wall.
She put each card in a penny sleeve and then used non-damaging photo holder to keep the cards in place.
