Nevets the Pokemon Trainer – Moldoh, Taterface, and Fateful Orb

Nevets, my company mascot, has been noodling around the Pokémon universe. He has conjured (brought into existence, meddled with the fabric of reality, or stuck his flat nose where it doesn’t belong) Pokémon in honor of my Son-in-law (Bellsparrow, Commancheeken, and Rotorhawk), Pokémon at the request of Grandchild #1 (Me-Ow, Meower, and Meowest), as well as eight Pokémon based on iconic vehicles from film and television.

Today he attempts to Pokemonize three iconic toys from my childhood.

Moldoh
Basic — Psychic
HP 60

Ability — Shape Shift
Once during your turn, you may discard a card from your hand and choose a Basic attack from any Pokémon in your discard pile. Moldoh can use that attack until the end of your turn.

Squish — 20
Psychic Energy
Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Confused.

Weakness: Water ×2
Resistance: Fighting −30
Retreat: 1 Colorless

It can be reshaped endlessly. No two Moldoh are ever exactly alike.

Taterface
Stage 1, evolves from Moldoh
HP 90, Psychic.

Ability — Mix ’n Match: Once during your turn, you may search your deck for an Item card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your deck.

Spud Toss — 40 — 1 Psychic + 1 Colorless. This attack also does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Weakness: Water ×2. Resistance: Fighting −30. Retreat: 2 Colorless.

Its body may be plain, but the possibilities are endless. It constantly experiments with new looks.

Fateful Orb
Stage 2
HP 140
Evolves from Taterface

Ability — Seek the Answer
Once during your turn, you may look at the top 3 cards of your deck, choose 1, and put it into your hand. Put the other cards on the bottom of your deck in any order.

Certain Doom — 100
Psychic + Psychic + Colorless
Your opponent reveals their hand. Choose a card from it and discard it.

It peers into countless possibilities. Some are good. Some are bad. All are inevitable.
